After I finished the work told by Christine, I continued with my flash project. Based on this book, the first step of creating a flash project is to plan unless there may a huge expenditure of time. Then, mapping out the project or create storyboard to facsimile each keyframe or scene in animation if we are creating a complex animation or game. Now, we finished these two steps and came out with the scene of the game by using AI. After that is creating the flash document and the coding part.

Today, I continued with flash. I read a book about flash and the book title is Flash CS4 All-In-One For Dummies. This book taught us how to use flash to create web banners, animation, flash game and other delights. This book is suitable for those who are not familiar with flash or a new user in flash. From this book, I knew the interactive flash designs and games rely heavily on ActionScript and we can create a flashy game by using flash with the ActionScript 3.0.
I read through the explanation and exploring the flash workspaces and flash tools. I learnt new knowledge like the meaning of symbols in flash which are reusable graphics. Besides that, I followed the tutorial in this book about how to place ActionScript on the Timeline. For examples, working with the Timeline and creating Timeline functions with ActionScript code. When click on the Win button the words "You won! You can program in ActionScript 3.0".

Today I completed the map of the game by inserting the last design marshmallow land. Finally, I had finished all the borders for total of 10 levels and the Jelly land in this map. These borders are important as a navigation for the user so they will know that which levels they are in now.
After I finished the graphic part, I proceed to the flash coding to develop this game. At first, I installed the Adobe Flash CS5 in my laptop before starting the exploration with flash. It is quite challenging for me because I am never use this software before. My friends told me that creating a game by using flash coding is not a easy task. Since my coursemates had started with flash coding while I am doing the AI for design part, so they are more understand with the flash than me now. After installed this software successfully, I started to explore the flash and I asked Li San for a help when I am facing problem in flash. I learnt how to import the Illustrator artwork into flash.

From the Christine's suggestion yesterday, I started to drew the border of all the lands in the map for each level while I am waiting for Li San to complete her work on marshmallow land and the cookies land. My progress was a bit slow because the AI software was always no responding while I am doing this map.

I was continued with the developing of mobile game. There are total of ten levels and two levels for each land. Today, I was completed the second level of cupcakes land in the afternoon. The image below was my work for today by using AI. Now, we had completed the background image of ice cream land, candy land, cupcake land and marshmallow and cotton candy land. The last land which is cookies land still in process.
Today we had a meeting to report to Christine about what we had done for the mobile game. She had gave us some precious opinions and comments to our work including the aspect of design and colours. There are total of ten main characters and the motion of these characters are jumping, sliding, stick and swing and sliding. After the meeting, I proceed to do the map of the game since most of the background image was be completed. I have to combine all the background image and design the bridges to connect each land. I spent more time in design than the drawing by AI.
